United launches new platform for corporate customers to fully customize and manage their travel programs

A new platform, the United for Business Blueprint, launching in late 2022, will enable corporate customers to design travel programs that include the most valuable services. United Corporate Preferred status, employee leisure travel discounts and more

The airline will also launch a new website later this year to make it easier for corporate customers who choose to book business travel through united.com and the United app to register and manage their travel.

Chicago, August 11, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — United Airlines today announced a new platform that allows corporate customers to fully customize their travel program agreements with airlines. This may include higher status in United’s loyalty programs, including United Corporate Preferred, the airline’s loyalty program for corporate customers. Options to make work easier while traveling, like booking a larger seat with Economy Plus® and Wi-Fi access. Incentives such as employee leisure travel discounts.

In a revolutionary shift away from discounted airfares, the only option available during the contract process, customers work with United sales representatives to choose from the airline’s extensive product catalog to meet their business travel needs. With the added ability to customize these options to individual flights, travelers and destinations, United will be able to launch its upcoming new platform, United for Business Blueprint will be the first airline to offer this level of customization in the contract process. With just a few clicks, customers can enroll in United for Business, browse programs and enroll for the option that best fits their business travel needs. Customers will now have access to a range of new features such as easy rebooking and redemption of trips, viewing and using his credit for future flights, and more. Customers can also view reports on travel activity based on money spent or trips taken, with options to filter based on travel date, origin, destination, etc. New customizable booking and payment settings give travel managers more choice in the payment options and spending guidelines they set for their travelers. While the site was designed with small businesses in mind, it also offers great value to larger organizations that book business travel through united.com or the United app.
