Re-draw.04: Pompidou Competition!

🔖 One building, any drawing, one illustration.
summary //
The RE-DRAW competition is back. In the 4th edition, the building that must be digested to create a completely new illustration is the Center Pimpidou, a high-tech building designed by Richard Rogers and Renzo Piano in his 70s.
How would you describe this iconic Parisian building?
Simply put //
The aim of the ‘Re-Draw’ competition is to create a single drawing that ‘represents’ an iconic building. Participants are asked to draft a single image with complete freedom of scale, technique and level of abstraction.
We encourage creativity, criticality and innovation. Drawings can highlight the functional aspects of a building and demonstrate a deep understanding of one or more design aspects. It may focus on aesthetic qualities, experimenting and mastering drawing techniques that yield surreal results, or it may be optical transformations, caricature interpretations, or distant abstractions of constructed architecture. I have.
Drawings can reinforce traditional interpretations of architecture, or explore new angles, new perspectives, intellectually and/or physically. The Pompidou Center can be depicted as a whole, in pieces, or as a collage of detached moments. Entries are completely flexible and adaptable to participant interpretation.
