Human Bean Coffee Shop officially opens for business

Dawson County coffee lovers have another option to satisfy their cravings. Human Bean’s new Dawson store is officially open for business, offering a variety of espressos, coffees, teas, and other beverages to the community, all available through the store’s drive-thru or walk-up window.

The coffee shop opened last weekend, and the Dawson County Chamber of Commerce held a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new business on August 9th. Business Aaron Nickelson, who opened the store with his partner Justin Fitzhugh and his wives Meghan and Olivia, said he’s seen and heard quite a bit of excitement from the community since the shop opened. Nickelson says one thing that sets The Human Bean’s menu apart is the abundance of sugar-free options. While many coffee shops only offer one or two sugar-free options, The Human Bean offers 15-20 sugar-free options.

The coffee shop is primarily a drive-thru, but also offers walk-up options for those who prefer to park and order at a walk-up window. , making it easier for customers to satisfy their coffee cravings.

The Human Bean was originally founded in Oregon and has since been franchised across the country by local franchisees like Nickelson. Nickelson, who is also a co-owner of Cumming’s location, said Dawsonville was a natural next step for him and his partners to put their newest store there.
