Early Bird Kiwanis Club of Decatur Funds Local Nonprofit | Education

Decatur — The Early Bird Kiwanis Club of Decatur announced Sunday that it will distribute donations to six nonprofit organizations to support youth activities and programs in line with its mission to “Serve the World’s Children.” Did.

• Good Samaritan Inn, $500. Feeding children in the Decatur community.

• Baby Talk $500. Provide age-appropriate books to be distributed to children during program activities.

• Illinois Children’s Museum, $300. Funding for themed books handed out to children during Storybook Shindig events.

Business Achievements: Bateman, HSHS St. Mary’s, Decatur Memorial, Busy

• Salvation Army, $250. Support various programs offered to children in the community.

• Kiwanis International Children’s Fund $125. Support grants to community clubs that want to make a difference in children’s lives with a focus on health care, education and leadership development.

• Camp Grenada, $125. Provide snacks and drinks for diabetic children during camp at Allerton Park.
