Announcing Rise Up-Women in Blockchain; Complementary Education and Scholarship Programs by ConsenSys, CryptoChicks, C4, and Applicature

Focus on Ukrainian women and help them advance their careers in blockchain.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.–(Newsfile Corp. – August 10, 2022)- Four blockchain sector organizations came together today to announce the Rise Up-Women in Blockchain program. The program provides free online education and scholarships to encourage more women to pursue blockchain development and entrepreneurial careers. The main aim is to support and give priority access to women from Ukraine who have recently lost their livelihood due to the war.

Rise Up-Women in Blockchain is a free education and scholarship program by Applicature, CryptoChicks, C4, and ConsenSys.

The program includes free online training and certification from two educational nonprofits, CryptoChicks and the Cryptocurrency Certification Consortium (C4). Also included is access to online blockchain developer training donated by software company ConsenSys through the ConsenSys Academy, and scholarships donated by blockchain venture builder and accelerator firm Applicature.

Application Scholarships and Support

Five selected women will each provide US$1000 as a scholarship to complete the ConsenSys blockchain developer program. Support and mentoring of study groups through Applicature’s Solidity Academy.
