Tua Tagovailoa Addresses Dolphin's Interest in Tom Brady

Tua Tagovailoa became the latest member of the Dolphins to address franchise sanctions from the NFL on Wednesday following a league investigation into allegations that Miami engaged in tampering and encouraged losing games.

In the course of its six-month-long investigation, the NFL found that the Dolphins had “unauthorized communications” with Tom Brady in 2019 and 2020, when he was under contract with the Patriots. In between illegal communications with the Dolphins’ Brady, Tagovailoa was picked by Miami with the No. 5 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The former Alabama star has since made 21 starts for the franchise and posted a 13-8 record while throwing 27 touchdowns and 15 interceptions over the past two seasons.
