For the first time since 2019, the Dublin Irish Festival is back in full swing.
Last year, the festival was held in a smaller version called Dublin Irish Days, but now, in honor of its 35th anniversary, the entire festival takes place August 5-7 at Coffman Park, 5200 Emerald Parkway .
Erin Santa, event coordinator for the Dublin Irish Festival, is thrilled that the festival not only showcases its history, but also features a lot of new stuff.

Entertainment is one of the festival’s main attractions. The event will feature 735 performers on his seven stages throughout the weekend, with 145 tents available for festival-goers to watch concerts and dancers. Admission to all performances is included in the festival admission price.
Attendees can watch performers such as the Red Hot Chili Pipers performing at 10:30 p.m. Saturday. WeBanjo3 will be playing every day of the festival on Fridays from 9:30pm on the Dublin stage.

What’s new at Dublin Irish Festival 2022?
The festival has made changes to its beverage payment card, the biggest change this year.
This year, anyone who returns with unused beverage tokens from the previous year will have their balance transferred to their beverage payment card.
“We didn’t want any unused payment cards to go to waste just because they paid,” Santa said.
The drink payment card isn’t the only thing new at the Dublin Irish Festival.

Parking Information for Dublin Irish Fest 2022
Parking at the festival is free.
According to Santa, there are several parking lots within walking distance around the festival, but they will be crowded on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is available at the Metro Center (555 Metro Place North). Santa said it’s about a 5 minute walk and there’s a free shuttle to take festival goers to the event.
