Richmond Raceway's iconic fan experience is packed with entertainment for the first-ever NASCAR Summer Race Weekend, August 13-14

As NASCAR returns to Richmond Raceway for the first-ever NASCAR Summer Race Weekend, fans will have plenty of fun on and off the track for the Worldwide Express 250 for Carrier Appreciation NASCAR Camping World Truck Series playoff races on Saturday, August 13th. Entertainment options are available. Federated Auto Parts 400 NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, August 14th.

Richmond Raceway President Lori Collier Warran said: “Summer is all about making memories, and there’s no better way to do it than a weekend of racing at Richmond Raceway. From the moment fans arrive, from the midway to the grandstand to FanGrounds, we’re ready for entertainment and activities.”

On Wednesday, August 10th, Richmond Raceway will host the final track lap for Charity of the Year from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. $20. All proceeds from this event Special Olympics Virginia and Richmond Raceway Cares. Family Movie Night is also happening on Wednesdays at Virginia Credit Union LIVE. The amphitheater opens at 7:30 pm and fans are invited to watch a Pixar movie. car We encourage you to bring your own seats to watch the movie with friends and family. Light concessions will be available.

On Thursday, August 11th, Richmond Raceway hosts the fan-favorite Rolling Campground Concert. Larry’s Hard Lemonade starts at 8:00 PM. Fans are looking for giveaways and other surprises. S’mores Night is also held at the Heritage Village. As the DJ plays, participants create their own s’mores to win prizes.

Country music star Cody Johnson performs to a sold out crowd live at Virginia Credit Union. Amphitheater on Friday 12th August. Dillon Carmichael and Randall King open the acclaimed show. On Saturday, August 13th, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will host an autograph session at Virginia Credit Union LIVE. Amphitheater from 5pm to 5:45pm Wristbands will be distributed at Worldwide Express displays along the way from 11am on Saturday To receive the wristbands, fans must present their Worldwide Express 250 for Carrier Appreciation race ticket. Must have. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult to receive a wristband.

As part of the first-ever NASCAR Summer Race Weekend, Toyota owners will enjoy exclusive Toyota Parking, Toyota Express Lanes for quick entry, complimentary premium ear plugs, and Toyota Green along the way for fans to relax and enjoy the race. Receive special perks like space access. Play lawn games outdoors or join a Toyota hybrid.

The Toyota Racing Experience and Toyota Racing Kid Zone will be open Saturday, August 13 from 11am to 8pm and Sunday, August 14 from 9am to 3pm midway. The Toyota Racing Experience includes vehicle exhibits and fan touchpoints. Featuring driver appearances and racing simulators. The brand new Toyota Racing Kid Zone offers a family-friendly racing his-day experience including games, photo ops and the opportunity to earn a Toyota Racing Premium.

A variety of activities and events are held throughout Richmond Raceway throughout the summer race weekends to enrich the fan experience. Here are some highlights:

  • The NASCAR Kids Zone returns to Midway with inflatables, color stations, Richmond Raceway activity books, face painters, caricature artists, games, prizes, and other NASCAR-themed activities for the whole family. The NASCAR Kids Zone will be open Saturday-Sunday before the race.
  • Virginia has photo moments available for fans throughout the facility, including lovers’ love letters and Virginia cutouts.
  • eNASCAR will be on display with iRacing’s four simulators for racing virtual Richmond Raceway and a gamer tent featuring Mario Kart.
  • The Bold Rock Lemonade Stand is located halfway down the frontstretch, next to the world’s largest racing piston. This area includes a portabar. The Bold Rock Lemonade Stand opens at 11am on Saturdays and 9am on Sundays.
  • On the Group Performance Stage, the track hosts regional groups to showcase a range of talent throughout the weekend.
  • NASCAR Truck App Scavenger hunt with 10 QR codes on Richmond Raceway grounds. Prizes throughout the race weekend with fans participating.
  • Raceway Ministries will host a worship service for fans at Virginia Credit Union LIVE.Sunday 8:15 am Amphitheater on the way

The infield FanGrounds will host many events and entertainment for race fans throughout the race weekend. The main contents are as follows.

  • Markel Entertainment Plaza will host DJs, yard games and driver Q&A featuring NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Lawless Alan on Saturday at 4:45 PM, Joey Logano at noon on Sunday, 12:00 PM It features NASCAR Cup Series drivers including Alex Bowman at 15 minutes.and Martin Truex Jr. at 12:30pm
  • NASCAR Kids Zone joins FanGrounds with a large coloring board and giant Connect 4 and Jenga games for the whole family to enjoy together.
  • Along the frontstretch, the NASCAR eSports Gamer Shade Structure will include multiple iRacing simulators for race fans to test their skills on America’s premier short track. Fans were also able to get surprise visitors who would stop by to showcase their skills in the simulator.
  • Fans can visit Luof Mortgage Victory Lane to win the Worldwide Express 250 for Carrier Appreciation Trophy on Saturdays from 2:30pm to 5:30pm and Federated Auto Parts on Sundays from 11:30am to 11:30am. Have your picture taken with the daily race trophies, including the 400 Trophy. 1:00 pm
