Unfair Treatment of Online Curriculum

The American Bar Association (ABA) oversees law school accreditation. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the ABA has granted 196 accredited law schools permission to offer full online courses. This year, the ABA is again allowing 140 law schools to use online courses to provide up to one-third of the credit hours required for JDs. However, with the exception of St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio, accreditation is pending for all fully online law schools, including Purdue University’s Concord Law School.
