Melvin Gordon feels Broncos are 'first class' team

Gordon feels equally strong about his side of the ball talent. Gordon and Williams were the only rushing duo to run at least 900 yards on each rush last season. He hopes Tandem and Receive his group will help make life a little easier for Wilson in his first year in Denver.

“Hopefully we can hit from every cylinder,” said Gordon. “We have the receivers we need to push the ball out onto the field. We have [Jerry] Judy creating a separation.we have [Courtland Sutton]like I said, a big ball guy who can stretch the field with KJ [Hamler].”

Gordon revealed that Wilson was “already locked in” and told Cowherd, “He wants everyone’s best.”

Gordon may still have his best performance of the season in two matches against divisional rival Chargers. He spent the first five seasons of his career with his franchise Chargers before being able to enter his agency free after his season in 2019. Gordon said he is still “chopping” with some of his former teammates, but he seeks revenge when confronted with them.

“It doesn’t change anything [competitively]Gordon said he still has a relationship with an old teammate. “When I play them, I want to win. I need to score. I have two chances this year.”

During his time with the Chargers, Gordon played for several talented teams, including a 12-4 season in 2018. Standout receiver Tim Patrick went down with a torn ACL this week, but Gordon says this Broncos roster is the best he’s ever had.

“We have a top-notch team,” Gordon said. “I’m sorry you lost Tim. [Patrick] Because he was definitely one of our key pieces. We have good guys who stepped up and made a name for themselves.

“I think we’re there. We had a good team with the Chargers, but we’re running hand in hand. That’s for sure.”

The Broncos are tied for seventh in Super Bowl odds and third in the AFC West, according to FOX Bet.
