A cow roast will be held on August 19th and 20th at the Fire Hall by the Imla Area Volunteer Fire Company. The event is rain or shine, admission is free. There are disc jockeys, live music, food concessions, car shows, bounce houses, pony rides, craft vendors, shops with Cop dunk tanks, chainsaw carvings, and fireworks. Cornhole tournaments for Abby’s Angels Animal Haven, Parks and Wrecks will be held at noon. Teams can register from 11am to 11:45am. The cost is $40 per team. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in the double elimination tournament. There is an Airmail Challenge and a Double Elimination Blind Draw. Coolers, outside food and alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
Claysburg Community Days are August 13 from 10:30 am to 10:00 pm, August 14 from 9:00 to 10:45 am, 11:30 am to 6:30 pm, Claysburg Area Community Days held in the park. In addition to the food and Little Miss Claysburg Pageant scheduled at 11:45am on Saturday, there will be entertainment over the two days of the annual festival, with Bull Sleek Rocks on Saturday from 2:30pm to 5pm. , including Shining Stars Twirl and Dance.
