Education Advocate Maureen Santora Featured on Close-Up Radio

LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y., July 29, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — Close Up Radio announces the return of education advocate Maureen Santora for the second in a three-part series. . She opens up a conversation with her host, Jim Masters, and enlightens listeners every Monday this August. The timing is perfect for parents and students preparing to return to school in September and facing new rules, new policies and new challenges.

Maureen has dedicated her life to teaching. First of all, as a parent, I moderated the daily debates at the dinner table and found educational opportunities at every sporting event and family outing. Since 1967, I have accepted teaching professionally as a teacher. There was a slight gap while she was raising her four children, three of which she also progressed into the educational field. Maureen believes that parents are the first, best, and most stable teachers a child can have.

Maureen is a passionate advocate of education and a recognized expert in the field. She supports families, students, and other professionals in shaping curricula, sharing effective methods, and developing programs and policies. She made another notable contribution to education when she founded the Christopher Santora Education Scholarship Fund in honor of her son, who majored in history and was then a substitute teacher and firefighter.Sad Notably, Christopher died in her 9/11 national tragedy.

“From an early age, he wanted to be a firefighter, so we decided to honor him in a way that would help other students pursue their dreams. We need to hear that nothing stands in the way.” Over the last 20 years, the scholarship fund has contributed nearly three-quarters of a million dollars at various levels and continues to make a difference for high school students.

Maureen has expertise in early childhood education (usually from K to 2). She wants us to go back to the basics: phonics, formula/repetitive mathematics, and teaching for the most intelligent students (think top-down instead of bottom-up). ..

Maureen also encourages parents to take a more active role in their children’s education at home and school level. She also talks about many other aspects of how she prepares the children and the classroom for her next year of success.

Close Up Radio will feature a series of interviews with education advocates Maureen Santora and Jim Masters every Monday, August 1st, 8th, 15th and 29th at 12:00pm EDT.
