Grand Rapids, Michigan (Wood) – If you’re still planning your weekend, there’s one event you can’t miss. The Glymps of Africa Festival takes place all day Saturday in downtown Grand Rapids. Frida and Umi from the festival’s creator Roros and her kitchen came to the studio today.
A Glimpse of Africa Festival is the largest African cultural festival in Western Michigan. It is family friendly and showcases the rich, diverse and beautiful African culture through fashion, arts, crafts, food, dance, music and interactive activities for both adults and children.
