BUSINESS IMPACT NW, Small Business Administration, Amazon Announce Initiatives to Support Local Small Businesses

Seattle, August 1, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Business Impact Northwest (BINW) and Amazon are teaming up to help small businesses recover from the challenges of COVID-19.

Leveraging digital business tools from SBA, Business Forward’s National Small Business Digital Alliance, and Amazon, BINW will provide growth-enabling business resources and educational workshops as part of the Small Business Digital Accelerator Program, State of Washington.

This program supports small businesses and entrepreneurs around the world. Washington Interested in becoming an online seller or looking to optimize your ecommerce. The program aims to involve 50 small businesses.

Companies with established products and ready access will get the most out of the training.

Companies that attend all six weeks of virtual training are eligible to apply for the Holiday Shopping Opportunity Program.

Business Impact NW has partnered with Amazon to select 5 to 15 businesses to sell at live pop-up vending events throughout Puget Sound during the 2022 holiday shopping season. In addition to in-person product sales, selected businesses will be promoted through Amazon, Business Impact NW, and other partner digital channels in anticipation of Small Business Saturday.
